Iwako’s Fun Erasers
Iwako’s “Fun Erasers” are small, three-dimensional erasers (plastic erasers) shaped like food, animals, and everyday household items. Upon closer inspection, each eraser is made up of separate parts, much like a puzzle. Their intricate shapes, cuteness, and wide variety have made them beloved by many.
The quality of novelty erasers
Iwako’s fun erasers are entirely made in Japan, from planning to manufacturing, and most are produced in our own factories. Iwako is committed to pursuing quality so that children can pick them up with peace of mind and smile, and we thoroughly manage our processes to ensure that each eraser our customers cherish.
High erasure rate
The erasing ability (erasing rate) test (according to JIS 6050 4.4) involves setting an eraser cut to a certain size into a machine and running it back and forth three times over a piece of paper rubbed with a pencil. The paper is then exposed to infrared light to measure how much graphite has been removed from the paper. This is an official test. While the standard value is 80% or higher, Iwako’s novelty erasers achieved a score of 87.7%.
Safety of raw materials
Iwako’s fun erasers do not use harmful substances such as lead or PVC (LEAD FREE & NON-PVC). Furthermore, they use materials that meet the toy safety standards (Sections 1 & 2 of Part 3) of the Polymer Materials Center Test.
Target age range
We prioritize safety and display the target age and usage precautions on each product.
Acquisition of European Toy Safety Standard (EN71)
Iwako’s fun erasers have obtained EN71 (European Toy Safety Standard), which lists specific inspection items regarding toy safety from various angles, such as target age and intended use, and the CE mark is displayed on the packaging.
Iwako’s fun erasers undergo chemical analysis testing by an international testing organization to ensure safety and peace of mind. All items have passed the certification issued by the third-party organization.
